Monday 11th March - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played across the divisions.

In the Premier League, the spotlight was on Athletico Gem Carpets United and Sevilla Depression, who fought hard to earn a 1-1 draw. Karius To Glory fell short against Socks, losing 2 - 3, while The Swan FC asserted their dominance with a 2 - 0 clean win over We Are Bad.

Division 1 saw an intense match between Aston Villagers and Pathetico Madrid, with the former narrowly clinching a 4-3 victory. Thiago X Silva outclassed The Arcade Cannock, with a 3- 1 victory.

The heated competition continued into Division 2, with MDMaccies FC outscoring Between The Spreadsheets 6-1, while Colonel Getafe secured a 3-2 win over Sesh Club 7. The Special Ones fell behind No Cap Jack FC, losing 3-5.

Over in Division 3, Beacon Bombs defeated Ayden B 3-1, and Bar Sports FC overcame Stroke Titty with a 4-1 win. Set 8 Ballers clinched a 3-1 victory against NOT IN UR MOMS FOREST.

We welcome new team PWD FC to the league this week, they take the space in Division Two and we wish these good luck going into their debut game on Monday 18th March.
