Monday 15th January - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring two.  We look forward to seeing Barsportelona and Colonel Getafe return to action on Monday 22nd January as normal.

On the pitch, starting off with the Premier League division, Athletico Gem Carpets United edged out Skillage in The Village in a nail-biting match, ending with a solitary goal. The thrilling encounter between The Swan FC and Sevilla Depression ended in a 3-3 draw, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. An intense face-off between Neville Wears Prada and Demba9ba saw no goals, while Karius To Glory emerged victorious over Harchester United with a 3-0 win.

In the Division 1 category, Aston Villagers dominated The Arcade Cannock with a 5-1 victory. We Are Bad and Tekkerslovakia locked horns in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw, while Predators FC narrowly defeated Red Hot Chilli Knackers 2-1.

Division 2 had its share of drama with The Special Ones narrowly beating Ayden B 2-1. Thiago X Silva and Pathetico Madrid ended their match in a 1-1 draw, while Koch In Dias and No Cap Jack FC shared points after a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Division 3 saw Beacon Bombs overpower Bargain Boyz with a 4-0 score. Sevilla Lacatalent and Donny On De Beek had a close encounter with Sevilla Lacatalent winning 2-1 against the debutants. MDMaccies FC secured a 1-0 victory over Gangsters Allardyce.
