Monday 17th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring Hednesford Old Boys who had some late dropouts.  They will be spoken to accordingly regarding their future availability.


In the Premier League, Harchester United and Aston Villagers played out a hard-fought 2-2 draw, displaying their prowess on the field. We Are Bad, unfortunately, suffered a 0-5 defeat against the formidable Karius To Glory. Bridge Rejects and Skillage In The Village had spectators on the edge of their seats as they fought to a thrilling 4-4 draw. In another closely contested match, Athletico Gem Carpets United narrowly missed out on victory with a final score of 1-2 against Tekkerslovakia.

Moving on to Division 1, Colonel Getafe demonstrated their dominance with an outstanding 6-1 triumph over BarSportelona. Sevilla Depression secured a crucial 1-0 victory against The Arcade Cannock, while Neville Wears Prada battled hard but ultimately lost 1-2 against The Swan FC. AFC Hednesford Rejects showcased their attacking prowess with an impressive 7-1 win against Thiago X Silva.

Division 2 saw Red Hot Chilli Knackers deliver a commanding performance, scoring an incredible 15 goals and not conceding any against Bargain Boyz. Paris Ganja Man secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Quantum FC, and Madeline Milan narrowly lost 1-2 against Socks.

In Division 3, It Was Just Matip and Ayden B engaged in a goal fest, with Ayden B emerging victorious with an impressive 7-5 scoreline. Bazikstan FC edged out Netsix And Chill with a tight 2-1 result, while Pathetico Madrid secured a 2-0 win against The Special Ones. Beacon Bombs displayed their defensive prowess with a solid 2-0 victory over Set 8 Ballers.

We wish all teams good luck going into the games on Monday 24th July which are the final games of the current season, ahead of the new campaign which will kick off on Monday 31st July.
