Monday 18th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football this week in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league, which saw all teams in attendance barring a cancellation on the day from AFC Hednesford Rejects, who have now withdrawn from the league.

We are pleased to welcome new team 'Demba 9 Ba' into the league as their replacement, they are a regular team with us on a Wednesday and we wish them good luck going into their debut game on Monday 25th September!

In the Premier Division, Aston Villagers edged out Tekkerslovakia in a closely contested match that finished 1-0. Athletico Gem Carpets United and Karius To Glory shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw, while Harchester United proved too strong for The Swan FC, with the game ending 4-2 in their favour.

The action was equally intense in Division 1, where We Are Bad ran rampant against Colonel Getafe, securing a 6-0 victory. Predators FC dominated Sevilla Depression with a clean 3-0 win, while Neville Wears Prada sneaked past The Arcade Cannock with a 1-0 victory. An impressive performance from Red Hot Chilli Knackers saw them overcome Murder On Zidanes Floor 4-0.

Division 2 was home to some thrilling football as well. Ayden B clinched a tight 4-3 win over Thiago X Silva, while BarSportelona bested Socks 4-1. Paris Ganja Man ousted Beacon Bombs 5-0, and Koch In Dias narrowly defeated McCaffies Fc 2-1.

Division 3 saw The Special Ones triumph over Bargain Boyz 7-2, while Set 8 Ballers beat Bazikstan FC 4-2. Quantum FC secured a 3-1 victory against It Was Just Matip, and Pathetico Madrid emerged victorious against Netsix And Chill, with a 4-2 win.
