Monday 22nd April - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches across the four divisions and some well competed games played.

In the Premier League division, a neck-to-neck fight between Athletico Gem Carpets United and We Are Bad ended in a 1-1 draw. Another goalless draw was witnessed between Karius To Glory and The Swan FC. Sevilla Depression managed a narrow victory over Skillage In The Village with a scoreline of 1-0. Yet, the highlight of the division was the ruthless domination of Socks over Murder On Ya Nans Floor with a staggering 10-1 victory.  These were big wins for the final two teams as it was double points week from the cancelled games at the beginning of the season, so these teams really took advantage with these results.

Division 1 saw equally fierce matches. Aston Villagers edged past Thiago X Silva with a 1-0 score, while Harchester United dominated The Arcade Cannock, winning 4-0. In a closely contested match, Tekkerslovakia managed to overcome Kurdish Boys 4-3. Pathetico Madrid blanked Red Hot Chilli Knackers with a 2-0 victory.

Competitive spirit was also on full display in Division 2. Between The Spreadsheets defeated The Special Ones 2-1, and No Cap Jack FC beat Colonel Getafe 3-1. Sesh Club 7 emerged victorious over Koch In Dias with a score of 6-3, while MDMaccies FC and Murder On Zidanes Floor settled for a 2-2 draw.

In Division 3, Set 8 Ballers defeated Ayden B 2-0, while NOT IN UR MOMS FOREST trounced Bar Sports FC 5-0. PWD FC registered a convincing 5-1 victory over Stroke Titty, and Donny On De Beek outclassed Beacon Bombs 7-1.
