Monday 26th February - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring a couple of cancellations on the final game of the campaign.  We look forward to seeing everyone back in attendance for the season opener on Monday 4th March.

In the Premier League, Skillage In The Village demonstrated a masterclass in football by decimating Kurdish Boys with a staggering 12-0 victory, sealing their place at the top with 20 points and 9 wins. Neville Wears Prada and The Swan FC also impressed, both winning their respective matches 4-1 against Karius To Glory and Athletico Gem Carpets United.

Division 1 saw Socks clinch the title with an impressive 4-1 win over Red Hot Chilli Knackers, accruing 23 points and 11 wins overall. Tekkerslovakia, however, offered the most striking performance of the night with a 7-2 victory over Between The Spreadsheets.

In Division 2, Pathetico Madrid emerged victorious despite their match being absent from the night's roster, their season total of 22 points and 9 wins placing them ahead of their rivals. Notable matches included Thiago X Silva's 4-1 win over Ayden B and The Special Ones narrowly beating Colonel Getafe 3-2.

Meanwhile, in Division 3, MDMaccies FC sealed their win with a 6-2 victory over Bar Sports FC, securing the top spot with 22 points and 10 wins. The highlight of the division was undoubtedly Bargain Boyz's thrilling 2-2 draw against Set 8 Ballers.
