Monday 30th January - Cannock Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's action in the Cannock Monday 6 a side league this week as we are now full once again which is excellent news.

New boys Foley Kings settled in well to the Premier Division as they overcame an experienced Gem Carpets by 3 goals to 1 in a superb performance, they look like they will be a great addition to the division and keep it competitive.  Skillage In The Village drop a place to second on goal difference after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Neville Wears Prada who are another side who have showed competitiveness since joining.  It also ended all square as Bridge Rejects and Aston Villagers shared a point apiece in a 1-1 draw.  Harchester now go top of the table after they had a 5-0 win in the absence of Barsportelona this week.

Division One leaders Sevilla Depression were comfortable 3-0 victors over Smokehouse as they extend their lead to four points at the summit as Harriers were beaten 6-4 by Sporting Bad Haircuts which drops them to fourth and sees the opposition move up to third.  A 4-0 win for Karius To Glory over Socks moves them into second place as the promotion race hots up, whilst Tekkerslovakia and Thiago X Silva shared a point apiece in a 1-1 draw.

The top two in Division Two continue to slog it out for promtion as The Swan were 8-0 winners over Special Ones, whilst Madeleine Milan routed Xavi Dodgers by 10 goals without reply.  Third placed Arcade Cannock remain a point off second as they beat new team ADI Cannock narrowly by 2 goals to 1.  Allison Wonderland completed the action for the division and move into fourth spot following their 3-1 win against strugglers Matip.

Division Three has a new leader as Red Hot Chilli Knackers ran out 4-1 winners against We Lose Every Week, seeing three teams level on 11 points.  Second placed Pathetico Madrid had to settle for a point as they drew 1-1 with Set 8 Ballers, and Beacon Bombs dropped to third position following their 5-2 defeat to an ever improving Koch In Dias.  The action for the division was completed by a 2-2 draw between Lallanas In Pyjamas and Ayden B who remain fifth and sixth respectively.
