Monday 31st July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week as the new season got underway, with all 32 teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent football played across the four divisions.

In the Premier League, AFC Hednesford Rejects showcased their prowess by securing a comfortable 2-0 victory over Skillage In The Village. Meanwhile, Aston Villagers managed to edge out Tekkerslovakia in a closely contested 3-2 encounter. The standout performance of the division came from Karius To Glory, who dominated Athletico Gem Carpets United with a resounding 5-0 win. The Swan FC also began their campaign on a high note, securing a narrow 2-1 victory against Harchester United.

Division 1 matches didn't disappoint either, with Colonel Getafe and We Are Bad playing out a thrilling 6-6 draw, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats. In another high-scoring affair, Sevilla Depression triumphed over Madeline Milan with a 5-3 scoreline. Neville Wears Prada managed to secure a 2-1 victory against The Arcade Cannock, while Red Hot Chilli Knackers defeated Murder On Zidanes Floor with a solid 3-1 win.

Division 2 encounters were equally captivating. Thiago X Silva started their season in style, securing a narrow 3-2 victory over Ayden B. Socks and BarSportelona played out an exciting 2-2 draw, displaying their tenacity and skill. Paris Ganja Man made a strong statement with a convincing 3-0 win against Beacon Bombs, while Koch In Dias emerged victorious in a high-scoring affair against McCaffies FC, winning 5-3.

Finally, in Division 3, The Special Ones showcased their talent and determination with a 4-2 victory over Bargain Boyz. Bazikstan FC managed to secure a 2-1 win against Set 8 Ballers, while Quantum FC triumphed over It Was Just Matip with a close 4-3 scoreline. Pathetico Madrid also started their season with a solid 2-0 win over Netsix And Chill.
