Monday 4th March - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches that were scheduled.

Unfortunately due to a pitch issue, there were no games in the Premier Division this week, the cancelled games will be played as DOUBLE HEADERS on Monday 22nd April the next time these teams meet.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

In Division 1, some thrilling matches took place. Thiago X Silva started their season with a competitive edge, winning 4-3 against Aston Villagers. Harchester United made a stunning impact, besting The Arcade Cannock 7-2. Tekkerslovakia also clinched a 6-3 victory against Kurdish Boys. Finally, a solid performance by Pathetico Madrid saw them overcoming Red Hot Chilli Knackers 3-1.

The Division 2 saw an array of closely fought matches. The Special Ones and Between The Spreadsheets battled it out in a 3-3 draw. Colonel Getafe emerged victorious 4-3 in a tightly contested match against No Cap Jack FC. Koch In Dias triumphed 8-4 over Sesh Club 7, and MDMaccies FC clinched a close win against Murder on Zidanes Floor 4-3.

In Division 3, Ayden B narrowly overcame Set 8 Ballers with a 1-0 victory. An evenly matched encounter between NOT IN UR MOMS FOREST and Bar Sports FC ended in a 1-1 draw. Stroke Titty beat Bargain Boyz 3-0, and Beacon Bombs outperformed Donny On De Beek in a 4-3 victory.
