Monday 4th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 32 teams attending for their weekly football fix following the Bank Holiday break, and some well competed games played across the four divisions!


In the Premier League, AFC Hednesford Rejects dominated the field with an outstanding 10-0 victory over Aston Villagers. Their stellar performance showcased the prowess of their top scorers, who contributed significantly to their resounding win. Meanwhile, Skillage In The Village and Athletico Gem Carpets United ended their clash in a hard-fought 2-2 draw, demonstrating their determination to secure points. The Swan FC and Tekkerslovakia also played out a thrilling match, finishing with a 3-3 tie, showcasing the competitiveness in the league. Karius To Glory faced a tough challenge from Harchester United, ultimately succumbing to a narrow 3-4 defeat in an action-packed encounter.


Division 1 also saw its fair share of excitement, with Predators FC securing a convincing 3-1 win over Colonel Getafe, thanks to the efforts of their top goal scorers. We Are Bad displayed their attacking prowess, netting five goals against Neville Wears Prada, ultimately winning 5-2. Red Hot Chilli Knackers managed to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sevilla Depression, while The Arcade Cannock emerged victorious with a 3-1 scoreline against Murder On Zidanes Floor.


In Division 2, BarSportelona emerged as dominant victors, overpowering Ayden B with a commanding 4-1 win. Thiago X Silva narrowly defeated Beacon Bombs in a thrilling 5-4 encounter, in a game that swung either way with both teams taking the lead, eventually Thiago came from 4-3 down to seal the points with a late double.   Socks displayed their attacking prowess, securing a 4-2 victory over Koch In Dias. McCaffies FC emerged victorious with a 2-1 result against Paris Ganja Man, with a goal 1 minute from time giving them the points.


The teams in Division 3 also showcased their skills, with Bazikstan FC trouncing Bargain Boyz with a resounding 4-0 victory. The Special Ones displayed their dominance with an impressive 6-1 win against It Was Just Matip. Set 8 Ballers secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Netsix And Chill, while Pathetico Madrid emerged victorious with a convincing 6-0 scoreline against Quantum FC.
