Monday 9th March - Cannock Round-Up

The season came to an end in the Cannock Monday 6 a side league this week, and it was a good evening's football overall with all teams in attendance barring a cancellation from Gangsters Allardyce who return to action on Monday 16th March for the new season.


In the top-tier Premier League, Aston Villagers emerged as the triumphant gladiators, finishing the season on a high note defeating RB LEGION with an impressive score of 3-0. This victory cemented their position at the pinnacle of the league, with an unblemished record of 9 victories, totalling an impressive 18 points.


A standout performer of the league, and an instrumental part of the Aston Villagers' success, was the league's Most Valued Player - Harry Duke. His consistent performances throughout the season earned him this accolade, and he ended the season with a stellar performance.


Elsewhere in the Premier League, Tekkerslovakia edged out Pathetico Madrid 1-0, while The Arcade Cannock defeated Ayden B 2-0. Thiago X Silva claimed an emphatic 5-0 victory over The Colts.


In Division 1, Sevilla Depression’s relentless performance throughout the season paid off as they emerged victors with a total of 16 points, garnered from an impressive seven wins. They rounded off their season with a decisive 3-0 victory over Titus Shambles.


In other Division 1 matches, Cash Out And Cry narrowly defeated Not In Ur Nans Forest 3-2, while NOT IN UR MOMS FOREST managed a 1-0 win against Pjanic At The Isco.
