Sunday 25th October - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some entertaining games played across both divisions.

It Just Got Messi continue to lead the way in the Premier Division, albeit by only a point after they ran out 4-1 winners over FUB FC.  Dynamo Fuktherest remain on their coattails though and they won an entertaining encounter with Snorting Wizbon 4-3 leaving it close at the top.

It was 11 not out for Fatletico Madrid who sealed promotion with three games to spare and continue their perfect record.  They were 3-2 winners over Wap FC this week in an entertaining encounter.  Team Maestro were beaten 2-0 by 01543 FC this week which narrows the gap between the two to just a single point as both chase promotion, making for an interesting final three games of the campaign.  New team Nutmeg City 2 made their debuts this week and ran out 3-0 victors over Gas on Grass.
