Sunday 11th May - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up
It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Hednesford U5's who return as normal next week.
In the Premier League, 01543 FC and Glass on Grass locked horns in a gripping match, ending in a 2-2 draw. Both teams showed tremendous skill and determination as they battled for every ball. Bar Snort FC, however, had the upper hand in their match against Burntwood FC with a scoreline of 5-3. Bar Snort FC demonstrated profound attacking prowess, leading them to secure a well-deserved victory.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, FUB FC and Old Trafford Wanderers found themselves in a tightly contested encounter that ended 1-1. Both teams showcased excellent defensive tactics, making it tough for either side to find the back of the net.
