Sunday 13th February - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football this week in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, and some excellent matches played across both divisions.

Dynamo Fuktherest were the evening's big winners as they ran out winners in a 10 goal thriller against Team Maestro, 7-3 the full time score in a superb match.  Diadora FC got their season off to an impressive start, as they were 4-1 victors against a newly promoted We Kante Win.  Elsewhere, last season's champions It Just Got Messi suffered a 3-1 reverse at the hands of Snorting Wizbon in a surprise result, Messi beaten at the first time of asking after only losing once all last season!  Newly promoted FUB FC got off to a good start as they were 4-2 winners over Stroke Titty in their first game back in the top division.

Pique Blinders received a 5-0 win in the absence of their opponents Per Vertesacker, whilst new team Springies got off to a fine start in their debut game, running out 5-2 winners against Double Pogba and Koke in an excellent game.  01543 FC also won by the same score line in their match against another recently joined team Tekkerslovakia.  Dingles Reunited completed the weeks action with a 4-1 victory against Sponsored Breaks who were recently relegated, and will be looking to improve their form going into next week.
