Sunday 15th March - Cannock Round-Up

A good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, saw all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a late cancellation from Hednesford U5's who are due to return next week as normal.

In the Premier League division, it was a high-scoring week. The electrifying match between Tenpin Tuesdays and 01543 FC ended with an 11-4 victory for the latter. 01543 FC paraded their excellent form, with a powerful attacking display that left the Tenpin Tuesdays defense in shambles. The top scorer for the match was the 01543 FC's strapping forward, whose name unfortunately wasn't released, but who managed to net an impressive 4 goals.

Meanwhile, the match between Weetasix and What Divock was a completely one-sided affair. Weetasix could not manage to break the solid defense of What Divock, leading to a crushing 9-0 defeat. What Divock's forward line was outstanding, taking every opportunity to penetrate Weetasix's defense. The top scorer of the match was What Divock's nimble-footed striker, who scored an impressive hat-trick.
