Sunday 16th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being extremely late cancellations from two teams.   Snorting Wizbon and Leavemyarselona return as normal next week.

In the Premier League, the matches kicked off with a goalless draw between 01543 FC and Stroke Titty, showcasing the defensive prowess of both teams. Meanwhile, Sky Blue Army demonstrated their dominance on the field, securing a convincing 2-0 victory against We Kante Win. In an exciting encounter, Ayden FC and Norfolk N Chance battled it out to a thrilling 2-2 draw, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats. The final match of the Premier League saw Diadora FC dominate The Crow-Knees with a resounding 5-0 victory, highlighting their attacking prowess.

In Division 1, Fatletico III showcased their goal-scoring ability as they cruised to a comfortable 5-1 win against Hednesford U5s. Kane Cobras FC faced a strong challenge from FUB FC, who triumphed with a 3-1 victory. AC McCann and Adi Cannock engaged in a nail-biting contest, with Adi Cannock emerging as the winners by a narrow margin of 3-2. In a closely fought encounter, BARELY ATHLETIC secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Bar Snort FC.
