It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions.

Week 8 of the league saw a tight contest in the Premier League as Bar Snort FC held their ground against 01543 FC, with the game ending in a pulsating 2-2 draw. Not to be outdone, Burntwood FC and What Divock also shared the spoils in an evenly contested match that ended 1-1. With only two weeks left in the season, the competition is heating up as teams vie for the top spot in the league.

Over in Division 1, FUB FC put on a goal-scoring masterclass, demolishing BARELY ATHLETIC with an impressive 13-0 victory. Meanwhile, Old Trafford Wanderers fell short against a dominant Still Haven't Got One Yet, resulting in a 2-7 loss.
