Sunday 19th February - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across both divisions.

We are delighted to confirm the addition of a new THIRD DIVISION on Sunday 26th February, and wish our new teams, Panthers FC, Sky Blue Army, Bar Snort FC and Kane Cobras FC good luck going into their debut games with us.

Stroke Titty gained an outright lead at the top of the Premier Division as they beat second placed We Kante Win by a convincing 4-1 scoreline to move two points clear, worth an extra point due to their superior goal difference.  Diadora FC stay fourth as they won an entertaining matchup against Snorting Wizbon which ended 3-2.  It Just Got Messi got into their groove on their second week back in the league with a convincing 5-2 victory over FUB FC.

In Division One, Ayden FC moved to the top of the pile at the expense of their opponents Norfolk N Chance who they beat by 3 goals to 2 this week in a massive result for the title race.  However, third placed Put it In Dias were unable to make up ground on the promotion places as they were beaten 3-2 by a recently improved ACFC who got their third victory in four.  Master Haters are another team struggling for form lately, they were beaten 3-1 by Hednesford U5's, whilst Breast Rummage Albion completed the action for the division as they were comfortable 4-0 winners over Leavemyarselona.
