Sunday 19th March - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled barring Team Maestro surprisingly, who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 26th March.

A 4-0 win for Stroke Titty 100% confirms the title for them with two games to spare, a fantastic achievement as they comfortably swept aside FUB FC, whilst We Kante Win had to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw with third placed Diadora FC.  Elsewhere Snorting Wizbon got a huge result as they pulled themselves right back into the survival fight as they beat 01543 FC 3-0, drawing them level on points with their opponents going into the last two, they remain in the bottom two on goal difference though at this stage.

Ayden FC kept their winning run going in Division One, they were 6-4 victors against Breast Rummage Albion, a necessary win as second placed Norfolk remain on their tails, they were 3-1 winners against Buddhist Ballers as their goal difference remains superior, it is looking like all eyes will be on the final week matchup between the two!  Third placed Master Haters are now playing for pride as their promotion hopes were dashed a couple of weeks back, they got a 5-0 win over Leavemyarselona as they look to have bagged the highest possible position for themselves.  The action was completed by a 4-1 win from Hednesford U5's who overcame ACFC.

In the newly formed Division Two, Sky Blue Army look a cut above the rest in that division, and got their fourth win in a row by beating Bar Snort by a comfortable 5-1 scoreline.  The other action saw Goal Goal Power Rangers cruise to a 6-0 win over Kane Cobras.

We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league and wish all good luck going into game week 13 of the season with Cannock's premier providers of small sided football!
