Sunday 1st March - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good start to the newly relaunched Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night and some well competed football played in the new format.

What Divock displayed a commanding presence, edging out 01543 FC with a 4-2 win. The game showcased a series of spectacular goals and strong defensive plays from both teams. However, What Divock displayed superior resilience and unparalleled tenacity, which paved their way to victory.

Meanwhile, the game between Tenpin Tuesdays and FUB FC was a nail-biter. FUB FC managed to snag a narrow win with a scoreline of 2-1. This game was a testament to Tenpin Tuesdays' grit and FUB FC's strategic prowess, which ultimately earned them the laurels.

As the season has just begun, these results have set a thrilling tone for the forthcoming weeks in the Premier League division.

We are delighted to welcome new team Weetasix to the league from Sunday 8th March, wishing them good luck going into their debut game as the league is now full.
