Sunday 20th August - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good start to the new campaign in the Cannock and Hednesford 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled for the opening night of the new season.

We are delighted to confirm the addition of TWO NEW TEAMS to the action this Sunday 27th August!  We welcome new team's PBDL FC and Expected Toulouse to the action as they join the Premier Division and Division Two respectively, filling all three divisions again!


In the Premier League, the teams showcased their skills and determination right from the start. We Kante Win faced a tough challenge against 01543 FC, with the latter emerging victorious with a 3-1 scoreline. Meanwhile, Team Maestro clashed with Diadora FC in a closely contested match, but Diadora FC eventually secured a 3-2 win. Stroke Titty faced a formidable opponent in FC G&T, who dominated the game and emerged victorious with a comfortable 4-1 margin. Norfolk N Chance showcased their prowess as they defeated FUB FC 4-2 in a thrilling encounter.


In Division 1, AC McCann kicked off their campaign in style with an emphatic 8-1 victory over The Crow-Knees. Snorting Wizbon and Ayden FC battled it out, resulting in a hard-fought 3-3 draw. The match between Leavemyarsealona and Fatletico III was a closely contested affair, with Fatletico III securing a narrow 1-0 win.


Division 2 matches also entertained the fans as Adi Cannock emerged victorious with a 5-1 triumph over Young Dumb And Filled Wycombe. Paralympiacos displayed their strength against Hednesford U5s, securing a 2-0 win. In a highly competitive game, BARELY ATHLETIC triumphed over Kane Cobras FC with a narrow 1-0 scoreline.
