Sunday 22nd June - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

An excellent evening's football was enjoyed by all in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

In a thrilling match that sent shockwaves through the league, 01543 FC dismantled The Monks Crow-Knees with a staggering 11-0 victory. The relentless attack of 01543 FC was a sight to behold as they left no room for their opponents to make a comeback.

Another nail-biter of the night was the contest between Still Haven't Got One Yet and What Divock. The latter managed to edge out their opponents in a closely contested match with a final score of 2-1.

The Premier League also witnessed a high-octane face-off between Hednesford U5s and Bar Snort FC, with the former emerging victorious with a 3-2 win. Hednesford U5s showcased great teamwork, keeping the Bar Snort FC at bay.

In a match that had spectators on the edge of their seats, Glass On Grass defeated FUB FC with a 5-3 scoreline. Their impeccable play and strategic moves allowed them to clinch the victory and strengthen their position in the league.
