Sunday 23rd November - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week once again with all teams in attendance for their matches across the division.

The evening commenced with a nail-biting match between 01543 FC and WeKanteWin, with the former emerging victorious with a slim 1-0 victory. It was an impressive display of tactical prowess and defence from both sides, but 01543 FC managed to break the deadlock and secure the crucial three points.

Following this, spectators were treated to an offensive spectacle as What Divock triumphed over Hednesford U5s with an exciting 6-3 scoreline. The attacking prowess of What Divock was the highlight of the match, with their forwards relentlessly finding the back of the net.

Bayer Neverlusen and Multiple Scoregasms provided a stark contrast in their match, with neither side able to break the deadlock, resulting in a 0-0 draw. Both teams showed robust defence throughout the game and while the forwards had their chances, the keepers proved to be the heroes of the match.

The evening concluded with the most dominant display of the day as FUB FC routed Bashers United with an astonishing 9-0 win. The top scorers for the Premier League division were from FUB FC who provided an exhibition in clinical finishing.
