Sunday 24th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance across all three divisions for their matches, and some fantastic football played across the night.

Unfortunately after playing out their notice period to leave, Fatletico III have withdrawn from the league due to a shortage of players.  We thank them for their time participating in the league and hope to see them return in the future.  This does however mean that for any interested teams, we have ONE AVAILABLE PLACE in this popular league!  Join the Cannock Sunday 6 a-side league here or call us at +44 333 123 2340 for more information

In the Premier League, Team Maestro secured a tight victory over FUB FC with a final score of 2-1, making their mark in week 6 of the season. Stroke Titty came out strong as well, demonstrating dominance with a 3-0 victory over Norfolk N Chance. The clash between 01543 FC and Diadora FC ended in a goalless draw, while FC G&T scraped past PBDL FC with a 1-0 win.

Over in Division 1, there was a dramatic match between The Crow-Knees and Murder On Zidanes Floor, with the former squeezing out a 3-2 victory. AC McCann also emerged victorious, with a clean 3-0 win over Ayden FC. Fatletico III managed to edge past Snorting Wizbon with a 2-1 win, and Sky Blue Army triumphed over Inter Yermam 3-2 in a closely contested showdown.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Adi Cannock and Bar Snort FC battled it out in a thrilling match, with Adi Cannock coming out on top 3-2. Kane Cobras FC delivered the most decisive performance of the evening, obliterating Expected Toulouse 7-0. The match between Paralympiacos and BARELY ATHLETIC was a nail-biter, ending in a 2-1 win for Paralympiacos, while Hednesford U5s conquered Young Dumb And Filled Wycombe with a 2-0 victory.

Thanks to all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league, which ensures we run on time and smoothly at the venue on a weekly basis.  We wish all teams good luck going into their games on Sunday 1st October, for game week 7 of the campaign with Cannock and Hednesford's premier providers of small sided football!
