Sunday 27th April - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league overall this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring Mike Oxmall who return to action on Sunday 4th May.

In the Premier League, 01543 FC proved why they are considered one of the top contenders, clinching a close 2-1 victory over What Divock. A nail-biting, evenly matched game, both teams showcased their skills and determination throughout the match. However, it was 01543 FC's tactical prowess that ultimately clinched the win.

The other major match in the Premier League saw Bar Snort FC and Glass On Grass battling it out to a 1-1 draw. Both teams showed fantastic team spirit and resilience, making it an entertaining game for spectators.

Meanwhile, Division 1 witnessed major upsets and high-scoring games. BARELY ATHLETIC were overpowered by Still Havent Got One Yet, who scored an impressive six goals to win the match 6-2. The game demonstrated Still Havent Got One Yet's attacking prowess and will certainly make other teams sit up and take notice.

The other match in Division 1 saw FUB FC dominating Hednesford U5s, with a final score of 6-2. The victory for FUB FC will surely boost their confidence moving into the next week's fixtures, whereas Hednesford U5s will be looking to bounce back from the defeat.
