Sunday 28th January - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions, the only exception unusually being Team Maestro who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 4th February.

In the Premier League division, highlights included a dominant performance by AC McCann, who triumphed over Snorting Wizbon with a resounding 4-1 victory. The team displayed a brilliant show of skills and teamwork, asserting their authority on the ground.

The fixture between BARELY ATHLETIC and PBDL FC was a tight affair. PBDL FC emerged victorious with a slim margin, edging out BARELY ATHLETIC 4-3 in a nail-biting finish. FC G&T also showcased their prowess by defeating Murder On Zidanes Floor with a clean 3-0, proving to be an indomitable force within the division.

Meanwhile, in the Division 1, Adi Cannock secured a 5-3 win over The Crow-Knees while Street FC squeezed past Bar Snort FC with a 2-1 victory. Sky Blue Army narrowly defeated Per Vertesacker 2-1, and FUB FC managed a 1-0 victory over Norfolk N Chance. Hednesford U5s, however, fell short against a rampaging Kane Cobras Fc team that scored 4 unopposed goals.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Cannock and Hednesford's premier providers of small sided football!
