Sunday 28th May - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

Premier Division:


In the Premier Division clash, Diadora FC and Ayden FC battled it out in an intense showdown. Both teams showed tremendous determination, but it was Diadora FC who managed to claim victory with a 2-1 scoreline. They exhibited their flair on the pitch, leaving Ayden FC struggling to keep up.


The Master Haters went head-to-head with We Kante Win in a highly anticipated encounter. However, despite their valiant efforts, The Master Haters had to settle for a 2-2 draw, which unfortunately dropped them to second place. We Kante Win put up a fierce fight, showcasing their skills and resilience throughout the match.


Norfolk N Chance and Team Maestro locked horns in an exhilarating clash. Both teams displayed their prowess on the field, but it was Norfolk N Chance who emerged triumphant with a narrow 2-1 victory. They showcased their ability to seize opportunities and execute precise plays, ultimately securing them the well-deserved win.


Sky Blue Army, who seemed to have their heads in the clouds this week, faced the unstoppable Stroke Titty. The match turned out to be a one-sided affair as Stroke Titty dominated the game, stunning Sky Blue Army with an astonishing 6-1 victory. Their performance propelled them to the top of the table by a point, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with.


Division One:


Barely Athletic and LeaveMyArselona engaged in an intense battle on the field. The match was a neck-and-neck contest, but LeaveMyArselona managed to edge out Barely Athletic with a narrow 2-1 win. Both teams showcased their determination and skills, making it an enthralling spectacle for the spectators.


Bar Snort FC faced a tough challenge against AC McCann, but unfortunately, they failed to find their footing. AC McCann dominated the game, securing a comfortable 2-0 victory. Bar Snort FC fought hard but couldn't match the impressive performance of their opponents.


FUB FC, who continue to sit at the top of the table, faced a resilient Fatletico III. The match ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, with both teams exhibiting their attacking prowess and defensive resilience. FUB FC showcased why they are the frontrunners, while Fatletico III displayed their determination to earn a valuable point.


Dynamo Fukttherest clashed with Hednesford U5s in a game that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Dynamo Fukttherest displayed their skill and determination, securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory. They closed the gap on the top to just two points, showing that they are serious contenders in the league.


We would like to extend our gratitude to all the teams for their continued commitment and reliability in the Cannock and Hednesford Sunday 6-a-side league. It was an excellent turnout of teams, with the exception of Snorting Wizbon and Breast Rummage Albion, who were absent due to the Bank Holiday weekend. We look forward to their return next week.
