Sunday 6th August - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's action in the Cannock and Hednesford 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night across all three divisions and some fantastic matches played in the evening sunshine.


Premier League:


In the Premier League division, 01543 FC displayed an outstanding performance, dominating their match against Ayden Fc with an impressive 7-1 victory. Meanwhile, Diadora FC and We Kante Win couldn't be separated, as they settled for a 1-1 draw. Team Maestro proved their mettle by thrashing The Crow-Knees 7-2, displaying their attacking prowess.


Division 1:


In Division 1 action, AC McCann and Fatletico III battled fiercely but ultimately failed to break the deadlock, ending the match in a goalless draw. Bar Snort FC emerged victorious over Leavemyarsealona with a 3-0 scoreline, while BARELY ATHLETIC secured a 3-1 win against Kane Cobras FC. Adi Cannock showcased their attacking brilliance, defeating Hednesford U5s with a resounding 8-2 triumph. DYNAMO FUKTHEREST also had a strong showing, overpowering FUB FC 6-2.


Division 2:


In Division 2 encounters, FC G&T thrilled their fans with an impressive 7-3 win against Paralympiacos. However, the match between Young Dumb And Filled Wycombe and Murder On Zidanes Floor saw the latter emerge victorious with an astonishing 12-0 triumph.


As the league continues to progress, the dedication, skill, and passion exhibited by these teams raise the excitement levels each week. Fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming fixtures, as the race for the top spot intensifies in each division.


We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league, and we wish all good luck going into the final matches of the current season with Cannock and Hednesford's premier providers of small sided football!  The new campaign will get underway on Sunday 20th August.
