Sunday 9th January - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for the return of the league and first round of action for 2022.

It Just Got Messi continue to lead the way in the Premier Division this week, as they sealed their eighth win in ten games as they ran out 3-0 winners over Diadora FC.  Second placed Stroke Titty continue to try and keep the pressure on as they remain in second place, they were 4-3 winners over Snorting Wizbon in an entertaining encounter.

Dingles Reunited's lead at the top of Division One was cut to just two points this week as they suffered a 1-0 reverse against third placed We Kante Win.  01543 FC sit in fourth place as they edged past a much improved Per Vertesacker by a 2-1 scoreline, whilst Pique Blinders won an entertaining affair against Double Pogba and Koke by a 4-2 scoreline.
