Football fans were swept off their feet last night as the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side Football League entered its sixth week of the season, delivering an intense series of matches.
In the Premier League, the night bristled with some nail-biting finishes. Clarence F.C. narrowly bagged a victory against Banglasesh FC with a score of 3-2, while IDEAL FC clinched a 4-2 victory against Wheely Bad Fc. The highlight of the division was NUTMEG CITY's emphatic 7-0 win over MDL F.C.
Division 1 saw Donk II securing a 3-1 triumph over Blink 1 Eto, while ORIENTAL DELIGHT hammered The Exsvendaballs with a commanding 6-1 win. Romasexuals also put on an impressive show, plowing through Restored V2 with a 4-1 victory.
In Division 2, DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE managed to sneak past Cannockbis Dank Council with a 2-0 win. Schlupp Matip had a thrilling 5-4 victory over Galacticos whereas LIMES FC defeated Pop Shuv-It 3-0. Norton Wanderers and MABLES SPARTANS tied the game with a 0-0 draw.
Division 3 witnessed some hard-fought battles as well. 12leftlegs whitewashed Blewitt FC with a 4-0 victory, Wyrley Ultras and Demba 9 Ba ended their game in a 1-1 draw. Rubber Ducks Fc and Plough & Harris managed to edge out their opponents FIVE WAYS and Limes FC 2 respectively.
Lastly, Division 4 saw Under My Cucurella edge out Funny Innit with a 1-0 victory, INTER YER NAN dominated Need A Treadmill FC with an 8-2 triumph, and The Pitmen outscored Pen Pushers FC 5-2.
