It was a good end to the season overall in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week. We did have a few teams missing this week due to the Premier League action this week but all are back for the new season and we look forward to seeing everyone back in action on Wednesday 18th February!
The thrilling final week of the Cannock Wednesday 6-a-side Football league saw heart-stopping action across the Premier League and Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 4. This season has been marked by outstanding teamwork, extraordinary goals, and fierce competition.
In the illustrious Premier League, Clarence F.C. clinched a crucial 2 - 0 victory over Nutmeg City, securing their position at the top of the division. They ended the league with an impressive total of 22 points and a commanding 11 wins under their belt.
Division 1 saw a hard-fought battle between Barry Ruins Everything Fc and Net Six And Chill ending in a 1 - 1 draw. However, it was Net Six And Chill who had the last laugh as they carried the division with a resounding 22 points and 10 victories.
Chase Ay We emerged as the undisputed champions of Division 2. They defeated Royal Coke Fc 4 - 3 in a game that had spectators on the edge of their seats. They conclusively topped the division with an outstanding total of 28 points from 14 wins.
In Division 3, Gas On Grass triumphed over Murder On Zidanes Floor 2 with a scoreline of 3 - 2. Their consistent performance throughout the season helped them to clinch the division with 23 points and 10 wins.
In the final division, Division 4, the Expected Toulouse team dominated with an 8 - 1 victory over Under My Cucurella. They led the division, ending the season with 28 points from 14 wins.
