Wednesday 11th June - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring Chaddy WFC who've now been removed from the league.  Puyol Pants Down have also withdrawn after completing their notice period.

In the Premier League, IDEAL FC showcased some of their best football this season, trouncing NUTMEG CITY 5-2. Elsewhere, Jimmy Sevilla FC's solid defence took them to a 2-0 victory over Blewitt FC. Clarence F.C. also claimed a significant 3-1 win against Puyol Pants Down, highlighting their dominance on the field.


Division 1 saw Banglasesh FC soaring high with a 4-1 victory over LIMES FC, while The Exsvendaballs held their ground in a 3-0 success against MABLES SPARTANS. Donk II also had an impressive performance, outplaying Murder On Zidane's Floor by 4-1. Toby Minton FC rounded out the division with a 3-1 victory over ORIENTAL DELIGHT.


In Division 2, a closely fought match saw Restored V2 edge out Chase Ay We 3-2. However, the highlight of the night was TomBolas FC's crushing 5-1 victory over Burntwood FC. Schlupp Matip and Galacticos shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw.


Division 3 was full of surprises, with Romasexuals claiming a 3-1 victory over Rubber Ducks Fc. Karim Pie demonstrated an offensive masterclass, thrashing Demba 9 Ba 10-2. Cannockbis Dank Council also enjoyed a successful night, defeating Limes FC 2 4-0.


Finally, Division 4 saw Funny Innit dominate Need A Treadmill FC in a 12-2 victory, while Cals U6s outplayed FIVE WAYS 3-1. The Pitmen and Under My Cucurella ended in a goalless stalemate.
