Wednesday 13th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was an excellent start to the new season in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams attending their matches as scheduled, the only exception unusually being Haven't Got One Yet who are due to return to action on 20th September.

In the Premier League, Banglasesh FC dominated TomBolas FC in a 7-0 victory. Toby Minton FC, ORIENTAL DELIGHT, and Newstead FC also bagged decisive wins, showcasing their strategic prowess and setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.


Division 1 saw a nail-biting duel as The Winding Wheel FC were narrowly edged out by 6Men1Cup with a 1-0 scoreline. NUTMEG CITY and Demba 9 Ba secured convincing victories, while Shameless 6! and Athletic Bilswan ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.


The Division 2 match-ups were equally riveting, with DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE stealing the spotlight with their high-scoring 9-3 victory over HSTIKKYTOKKY. LIMES FC and DCF United also managed to keep a clean sheet, winning their matches convincingly.


UnAthletico Madrid and Strongbow Unathletic emerged victorious in Division 3. NEWOLVABORA and Limes FC 2 also contributed to the goal fest, with resounding victories over their rivals.


Division 4 saw Hednesford City emerge as the star performers with a dominant 6-1 win over Wycombe Tit Village. Netsix N Chill also secured a narrow victory, while Wyld Stallyns and Real Sociopaths had to settle for a draw in their encounters.
