Wednesday 19th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across all five divisions, and a fantastic evening enjoyed by all teams!


In the Premier League, Donk II defeated Athletic Bilswan with a solid 3-1 victory to claim their second win of the campaign, as they look to move from the drop zone.  Cat Zouma dominated fellow title challengers Exeter Gentley, securing an impressive 6-1 win to remain undefeated as their season goes from strength to strength.   Jimmy Sevilla FC narrowly edged out IDEAL FC with a 4-3 scoreline, their second win in a row since joining, while NUTMEG CITY secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Banglasesh FC.


Moving on to Division 1, Champagne Super Rovers showcased their class with a convincing 4-0 win over Kingsmead FC. ORIENTAL DELIGHT displayed their attacking prowess, defeating Newstead FS by 4 goals to 2. A closely contested match between DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE and Clarence F.C. ended with a slender 3-2 victory for the latter. Shameless 6! dominated Demba 9 Ba, registering an emphatic 7-0 win.


In Division 2, Shady FC outplayed Baldeaux, securing a 5-3 win. Hat Tricks For The Fat Chicks were in top form, overpowering Golden Oldies with a commanding 5-1 victory. MABLE'S SPARTANS managed to secure a 3-1 win against The Winding Wheel FC, while Toby Minton FC narrowly defeated HSTIKKYTOKKY with a 2-1 scoreline.


Meanwhile, in Division 3, 6Men1Cup emerged victorious with a comfortable 3-0 win over LIMES FC. Haven't Got One Yet recorded an impressive 4-0 win against NEWOLVABORA. The match between Expected Toulouse and Strongbow Unathletic turned out to be a goal-fest, with Strongbow Unathletic eventually triumphing 6-4. In a closely fought encounter, UnAthletico Madrid secured a narrow 4-3 victory against DCF United.


Lastly, in Division 4, Cannock Town United FC dominated Lotto Juniors, notching up an emphatic 6-2 win. Limes FC 2 secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Netsix N Chill, while Wycombe Tit Village edged past Hednesford City with a slim 2-1 win. In a closely contested match, Wyld Stallyns emerged victorious, defeating FIVE WAYS by a narrow 2-1 margin.
