Wednesday 20th August - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed football on display throughout the night.

In the Premier League division, it was a nail-biting finish for NUTMEG CITY who narrowly beat Toby Minton FC with a score of 3-2. IDEAL FC showed their prowess on the field, making a clean sweep with a 7-0 victory over Clarence F.C. Jimmy Sevilla FC also managed to bag a 1-0 victory over Wheely Bad Fc, making the Premier League's top scorer's list a suspenseful watch.

Over at Division 1, it was a fierce competition between Romasexuals and Blink 1 Eto, with the latter emerging victorious with a score of 2-1. Restored V2 displayed a strong performance, thrashing The Exsvendaballs 6-1. Murder On Zidane's Floor managed to scrape a win with a close 5-4 victory over Donk II.

Moving on to Division 2, where Norton Wanderers were defeated 1-0 by Cannockbis Dank Council. MABLES SPARTANS put up a compelling show with a 4-1 win over Pop Shuv-It, while LIMES FC managed a respectable 2-1 victory over Schlupp Matip. Galacticos also demonstrated their might with an impressive 5-0 win over DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE.

In Division 3, Plough & Harris beat 12leftlegs 3-1, while Limes FC 2 and Rubber Ducks Fc played out a 1-1 draw. FIVE WAYS defeated Wyrley Ultras 3-1, and Blewitt FC managed a 3-1 victory over Demba 9 Ba.

Finally, in Division 4, Pen Pushers FC made a strong 3-0 win over Chase Ay We. The Pitmen and Need A Treadmill FC showcased a thrilling match which ended in a 4-4 draw. INTER YER NAN surpassed Under My Cucurella with a 4-1 victory, and Durag McMahon brilliantly defeated Funny Innit 4-1.
