Wednesday 20th March - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being a late cancellation from Double Pogba and Coke who return to action next week.

In the Premier League, the oriental flavour was much too spicy for Jimmy Sevilla FC, as Oriental Delight ran riot in a 6-1 victory. At the other end of the spectrum, One Pitch One Love delivered a masterclass performance against Newstead FC, dispatching them with a resounding 12-0 scoreline. Elsewhere in the division, Toby Minton FC battled to a 4-2 victory over Athletic Bilswan, while Exeter Gentley bagged a 4-1 win against Donk II.

Division 1 heated up with Nutmeg City showcasing an impressive performance against Borrussia Teeth, notching a 9-4 victory. In a tighter contest, Shameless 6! edged Clarence F.C. 2-1, while Romasexuals managed a narrow 4-3 triumph over IDEAL FC.

In Division 2, BoJollys escaped with a 1-0 victory over Baldeaux while Mable's Spartans managed to bag three points against Demba 9 Ba with a 2-1 scoreline. TomBolas FC and Webblikesfattys registered 3-1 and 2-1 wins over Barmy Army and CrossBarcelona respectively.

Division 3 saw Strongbow Unathletic beat Haven't Got One Yet 3-1, whilst Limes FC ran out 7-3 winners against Getafe Me Mason. Banglasesh FC went goal crazy with a 6-0 win over Murder On Zidane's Floor, and Real Sociopaths beat Rizz Kings 6-3 in a nine-goal thriller.

Finally, in Division 4, Cancel It FC fell to a 2-1 defeat against Wycombe Tit Village. FC G&T were in seventh heaven as they swept past Limes FC 2 with a 7-0 win. Five Ways managed a solid 4-1 victory over Norton Wanderers, and Wheely Bad FC rolled over Wyld Stallyns with a 4-0 win.
