Wednesday 24th April - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week overall.  We did however have a few absences due to the Wolves game and local 11-a-side games taking place.  We look forward to welcoming back Barmy Army, Newstead FC, Exeter Gently, WebbLikesfattys, Nutmeg City, and Oriental Delight back to action on Wednesday 1st May.

One Pitch One Love have now been removed from the league following another cancellation.  Details of a replacement team will be posted as soon as we have one.

In the Premier League, Romasexuals displayed an impressive performance, overcoming BoJollys with a 3-1 scoreline. The victory was a testament to Romasexual's tactical prowess and clinical finishing, marking them as strong contenders in the division.

Division 1 saw Clarence F.C. asserting their dominance over Banglasesh FC, with a decisive 5-2 victory. Borrussia Teeth also emerged victorious in a tightly contested match against Baldeaux, finishing 4-3. The top scorers in this division were undeniably the stars of Clarence F.C. who controlled the game with their relentless offense.

Division 2 witnessed an exciting clash between Shameless 6! and Wine Bar Fc, with Shameless 6! clinching the win by a narrow 4-3. In another match, DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE managed a clean 2-0 score against TomBolas FC, showcasing their superior defensive skills.

The Division 3 matches were equally thrilling. Norton Wanderers fell to Wheely Bad Fc by a single goal, while Demba 9 Ba demonstrated their attacking prowess against CrossBarcelona, securing a 3-1 win. The top scorers of Division 3 were undoubtedly the players from Demba 9 Ba, who played a key role in their team's resounding victory.

Lastly, in Division 4, it was a goal fest with Cancel It FC edging out FIVE WAYS in a 4-3 thriller, and FC G&T outscoring Haven't Got One Yet with a similar scoreline. Meanwhile, Wyld Stallyns managed an emphatic 4-0 victory over Cannock Dossers.
