Wednesday 26th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams braving the treacherous weather conditions and showing fantastic commitment as they attended their games.


In the Premier League, NUTMEG CITY showcased their attacking prowess, securing a dominant 4-1 victory over Athletic Bilswan. Meanwhile, Banglasesh FC narrowly edged out IDEAL FC in a thrilling 4-3 encounter, highlighting the competitiveness of the division.


Division 1 witnessed an impressive performance from Champagne Super Rovers, who secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Shameless 6!, a late freekick the difference between the two sides. In another Division 1 clash, Demba 9 Ba emerged victorious with a convincing 4-1 win over Clarence F.C. in a well drilled performance.


Division 2 was not short of excitement as Toby Minton FC showcased their attacking prowess, demolishing Baldeaux with a remarkable 10-1 victory.  Another noteworthy match in this division saw MABLE'S SPARTANS emerge victorious with a comfortable 5-1 win against Golden Oldies.


In Division 3, UnAthletico Madrid suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of 6Men1Cup,  Meanwhile, NEWOLVABORA dominated Expected Toulouse with a resounding 7-0 victory.


Finally, Division 4 saw Cannock Town United FC clinch a convincing 6-2 win against Wyld Stallyns. FIVE WAYS showcased their attacking prowess with a 3-0 victory over Wycombe Tit Village, while Hednesford City secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against Netsix N Chill. Limes FC 2 also triumphed in their match, securing a 2-0 victory over Lotto Juniors.
