Wednesday 27th March - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week overall which saw the season come to an end with some well competed matches played across the divisions.


In the Premier League, One Pitch One Love emerged victorious, finishing the season with an impressive total of 24 points and 11 wins. Their final match against Jimmy Sevilla FC ended with a narrow 6-5 victory, demonstrating their skill and tenacity.


Meanwhile, Division 1's intense matches concluded with NUTMEG CITY as the champions. With a total of 23 points and 11 wins, they sealed their victory with a 3-1 triumph against Heath Haze.


BoJollys, in Division 2, claimed the championship title with a total of 24 points and 11 wins. The highlight of their week was a thrilling match against MABLE'S SPARTANS, which ended in their favor 2-1.


Division 3 saw RIZZ KINGS take home the trophy, concluding their season with 19 points and 9 wins. Their clash against Murder On Zidane's Floor ended with a decisive 5-1 victory.


Finally, in Division 4, Wheely Bad Fc emerged as the champions, finishing with a total of 20 points and 9 wins. Their final week saw a hard-fought match against Norton Wanderers, concluding the match in their favor 2-3.


We welcome new teams 'Cannock Dossers' and 'Hotel Thiago' to the league for the new season on Wednesday 3rd April, and wish these good luck going into their debut games, they replace the outgoing Wycombe Tit Village and Getafe Me Mason.
