Wednesday 27th September - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across all five divisions.

Unfortunately the evening was marred by the appalling behaviour of some of Netsix and Chill in Division Five in which one of their team members assaulted a member of Limes FC 3.  This team has now been removed from the league and due to the seriousness of the assault which took place, all members of the team have been banned as a consequence of this persons actions.  

Moving on to the action on the pitch...

In the Premier League, Toby Minton FC fought to a 3-3 draw against Banglasesh FC in a thrilling matchup. ORIENTAL DELIGHT outscored TomBolas FC 4-2, while Newstead FC fell short to Donk II, losing 2-4. In a high-scoring game, Exeter Gentley triumphed over Jimmy Sevilla FC with a whopping score of 7-1.

Division 1 saw Shameless 6! and One Pitch One Love settle for a goalless draw. NUTMEG CITY dominated The Winding Wheel FC, winning 7-1. IDEAL FC was edged out by Athletic Bilswan 1-0, while Clarence F.C. overcame Demba 9 Ba with a 3-1 victory.

In Division 2, LIMES FC fell to Baldeaux 0-4. Kingsmead Fc couldn't resist the onslaught of MABLE'S SPARTANS, losing 1-6. Borrussia Teeth outshone GETAFE ME MASON 5-1, while DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE defeated DCF United 5-1.

The action in Division 3 saw Strongbow Unathletic register a 4-2 victory over Cannock Town United FC. UnAthletico Madrid thrashed NEWOLVABORA 6-0, while Heath Haze dismantled Manresa VI with a massive 11-0 win. Limes FC 2 and Haven't Got One Yet drew 2-2.

Finally, in Division 4, Wycombe Tit Village narrowly beat FIVE WAYS 1-0. Real Sociopaths and Wyld Stallyns ended their game in a 1-1 draw, as did Norton Wanderers and Hednesford City.
