Wednesday 28th February - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league overall this week.  We did have a handful of cancellations though but look forward to seeing Athletic Bilswan, Webblikesfattys, Haven't Got One Yet and Wycombe Tit Village return on Wednesday 6th March.

Unathletico Madrid have now withdrawn after completing their notice from Division Two.  We are pleased to welcome back Crossbar-celona to the league who return after just over a year out.  We look forward to seeing these back in the league and wish them good luck in their return game against Bojollys!

In the Premier League, Donk II claimed a decisive victory over Jimmy Sevilla FC with a score of 3-1. Newstead FC suffered a heavy defeat against Exeter Gentley, who scored an impressive seven goals to Newstead's two. Oriental Delight fired on all cylinders, trouncing Toby Minton FC 7-2.

Division 1 saw Borrussia Teeth decimate Heath Haze, marking a triumphant 11-1 win. Ideal FC battled valiantly but fell short against Double Pogba and Coke, losing 5-2. Nutmeg City also emerged victorious with a 5-2 win over Shameless 6!. Romasexuals edged out Clarence F.C. in a nail-biter, claiming a narrow 2-1 victory.

In Division 2, TomBolas FC shut out UnAthletico Madrid with a resounding 6-0 win. A closely contested match between Barmy Army and Demba 9 Ba ended 4-3 in favour of Demba 9 Ba. BoJollys clinched a 3-2 victory over Mable's Spartans.

Real Sociopaths and Limes FC fought to a 2-2 draw in Division 3. Murder On Zidane's Floor pulled off a 5-3 win against Getafe Me Mason, while Banglasesh FC outshone Strongbow Unathletic with a score of 5-1.

Division 4 saw Norton Wanderers defeating Wyld Stallyns 3-1. Five Ways demonstrated their prowess with an 8-2 win against Limes FC 2. FC G&T triumphed over Cancel It FC, scoring five goals to their one.
