Wednesday 31st May - Cannock and Hednesford End of season...

Premier Division:


In the final games of the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6-a-side league, Newstead FS, a team relegated but playing with no pressure, faced off against Phil My Teet. Bangladesh FC clashed with Belt Road, who had already secured an impressive title in their first season since promotion. Despite Bangladesh FC's efforts, Belt Road proved their worth once again, confirming their title with a 4-1 win. It was a remarkable achievement for Belt Road, showing their dominance throughout the season.


Oriental Delight and Athletic Bilswan engaged in a thrilling battle, with Oriental Delight emerging victorious with a 4-2 scoreline. The match was filled with excitement as both teams displayed their attacking prowess. In the end, Oriental Delight's resilience and sharpness in front of the goal secured them the win.


In an intense encounter, Ideal FC faced Exeter Gentley, last season's champions. Both teams fought tooth and nail, delivering an exhilarating match. They will surely aim to go one step further in the upcoming season, hoping to reclaim the title they narrowly missed out on.


Division One:


The division's attention turned to Shameless 6! as they clashed with Cat Zouma. It was a fiercely contested match, with both teams showing great determination. However, Cat Zouma displayed their prowess and sealed a hard-fought 3-2 victory, securing their promotion back to the Premier Division at the first attempt since relegation.


Nutmeg City, the league winners with a flawless record for the season, faced off against The Winding Wheel FC. Nutmeg City continued their impressive form, dominating the match and cruising to a comfortable 5-1 victory. Their outstanding campaign established them as the team to beat and left their opponents in their wake.


Debutants Bazikstan FC clashed with Double Pogba and Coke, aiming to make an impact in their first season. However, it was Double Pogba and Coke who stole the show, displaying their skills and scoring prowess. They triumphed with a convincing 7-2 win, leaving a lasting impression in the league.


Mable's Spartans faced Donk II in a match that promised excitement, and it did not disappoint. Donk II staged an impressive comeback from being two goals down to claim a last-minute victory, winning the game 3-2. Division Two:


Strongbow Unathletic squared off against Shady FC in a contest that displayed the teams' determination. Shady FC showcased their superior skills and emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. Strongbow Unathletic fought valiantly but couldn't match their opponents' level.


Hstikkytokky faced DCF United in a tightly contested match. Both teams gave their all, battling for every inch of the pitch. Ultimately, Hstikkytokky displayed composure and emerged with a narrow 2-1 victory, showcasing their ability to perform under pressure.
