Wednesday 4th August - Cannock Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

Unfortunately we have had no option but to remove EMG and Allstars from the league as these were the same group of players.  This follows their conduct in a game vs Limes FC which ended up being abandoned.  We remind all teams that we will not tolerate violent and / or threatening behaviour in our leagues and any teams or players who do not adhere to this will be removed from the league.

LA Patrol and Stroke City have both left the league after completing their notice periods, this is in addition to the above team removals.

We welcome FOUR new teams into the league on Wednesday 11th August.  We wish NTS Villains (Premier Division), Tilerite Terriers and Drumsticks FC (Division One) and The Cesc Pistols (Division Five) good luck heading into their first matches with us.
