It was a good evening's football in the Cannock Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, and some well competed matches played across all five divisions.
In the Premier League, Nutmeg City overcame Ideal FC with a 4-2 victory, demonstrating grit and determination. Burntwood FC showed its dominance with a 7-2 win against Bangladesh FC. Toby Minton FC and Clarence F.C also enjoyed triumphant 4-2 and 3-0 victories over Donk II and Romasexuals, respectively.
In Division 1, Net Six and Chill had an impressive 8-1 win over Murder On Zidane's Floor. Barry Ruins Everything FC trounced Unathletico Madrid with a mighty 8-0 win, while Oriental Delight and Cannock Dank FC enjoyed close victories over Blink 1 Eto and Schlupp Matip, respectively.
In Division 2, Royal Coke FC and Plough & Harris both claimed victories while Cannock Dank FC 2 fell to Mables Spartans. The most stunning result was Chase Ay We's 10-0 demolition of Pop Shuv-It.
In Division 3, Limes FC 2, Murder On Zidanes Floor 2, Joga Bonito, and Gas On Grass all celebrated victories, while in Division 4, Bench Warmers, Expected Toulouse, and The Pitmen emerged as winners. The match between Fattys and Under My Cucurella ended in a draw.
