Wednesday 6th December - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Cannock and Hednesford Wednesday 6 a side league this week.  We had a handful of absences owing to the Villa v Man City game, but look forward to seeing the return of Athletic Bilswan, Cancel It FC, Haven't Got One Yet and Getafe Me Mason on Wednesday 13th December.

In the Premier League, some exciting games took place where Real Newstead FC triumphed over Donk II with a 4-2 victory and Toby Minton FC edged out Jimmy Sevilla FC with a similar scoreline. Newstead FC and ORIENTAL DELIGHT played out a goalless draw, adding an unexpected twist to the league standings.

Division 1 saw some nail-biting encounters too, with Clarence F.C just managing to edge past The Winding Wheel FC in a high-scoring match that ended 4-3. Shameless 6! displayed a dominant performance, trouncing Demba 9 Ba 0 with a 6-0 victory. NUTMEG CITY claimed a thrilling 5-3 win over IDEAL FC in the last match of the division.

In Division 2, Borrussia Teeth and Baldeaux played out an exciting 5-4 game, with Baldeaux securing the win. DCF United and MABLE'S SPARTANS played to a 2-2 draw, while DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE blanked LIMES FC 4-0 in a dominant display.

Division 3 saw Heath Haze beat Skank Fc 5-1, and in a close contest, Strongbow Unathletic defeated Limes FC 2 with a final score of 4-2.

In Division 4, Hednesford City and FIVE WAYS ended their game in a 2-2 draw, while LIMES FC 3 defeated Wyld Stallyns 5-4 in a high scoring encounter. RIZZ KINGS delivered the highest scoring match of the week, decimating Wycombe Tit Village 22-0. Norton Wanderers enjoyed a 4-1 victory over Real Sociopaths, finishing the week on a high note.

Top scorers of the respective divisions include Toby Minton FC and Real Newstead FC from the Premier League, Clarence F.C. and Shameless 6! from Division 1, Baldeaux and DOUBLE POGBA AND COKE from Division 2, Heath Haze and Strongbow Unathletic from Division 3, and RIZZ KINGS and Norton Wanderers from Division 4.
