Lincoln Wednesday Football League Puts on a Spectacular Show in Week 2

Following an intense week of competition, the Lincoln Wednesday 6-a-side Football League has produced thrilling performances from its teams in both Division 1 and Division 2. The games were nothing short of thrilling, with players delivering outstanding performances that left fans on edge.

In Division 1, Owen Coyles U40's were handed a defeat of 3-1 by the Linwave Lions, marking a strong show of dominance by the latter. The game was a power display from the Lions, asserting their prowess over their rivals.

However, the real showstopper of the night was the clash between Inter Girls U21 and Unreal AFC. It was a tooth-and-nail fight that ended with a narrow 4-3 victory for Inter Girls U21, cementing their position as a force to be reckoned with in the division.

In Division 2, If In Doubt Kick It Out faced a crushing 13-0 defeat against Inter-me-nan, marking one of the largest margins of victory in the league's recent history. Inter-me-nan was an unstoppable force on the field, securing its place as the top scorers for the division.

In a fantastic display of evenly matched talent, The Dorpy Dossers and Ronnie Pickering ended their face-off with a 3-3 draw, showcasing the intense competition in Division 2. Similarly, Romasexuals and Bellerin Than Out also battled it out to a 3-3 draw.

The second week of the Lincoln Wednesday Football League was a tremendous success, showcasing the talent and competitive spirit of the participating teams.
