A spectacular display of football skills was on show at the third week of the Alton Sunday 6-a-side Premier League, with several teams vying for the lead in a thrilling series of matches.

In a fiercely contested match, Alton Wanderers managed to outpace The Goal Diggers with a 4-2 win. The Wanderers exhibited exceptional team coordination and their top scorer put on an outstanding performance, netting two of the four goals. Despite their best efforts, The Goal Diggers couldn't close the gap, marking their second loss of the season.

Caspar Warren United faced off against The Kickabouts in another nail-biting encounter. Caspar Warren United secured a hard-fought 4-2 victory, with their top scorer adding two goals to his tally for the season. The Kickabouts put up a good fight but ultimately fell short.

Jesus FC took on Barretts Bargain Bucket and secured a comfortable 3-1 victory. Jesus FC's top scorer was in sublime form, scoring two of the three goals, leaving Barretts Bargain Bucket chasing shadows on the pitch.

However, the highlight of the week was undoubtedly the face-off between Fresh Shads and Carnage Crew. The Shads ran riot on the field, recording a commanding 7-0 victory. Their offensive line, led by their top scorer who netted three goals, proved too powerful for Carnage Crew to handle.
