The stage was set for an exciting week of football in the Gillingham Monday 6-A-Side league with week 6 of the season promising some thrilling encounters in both the Premier League and Division 1. The games did not disappoint and offered some impressive individual performances.

In the Premier League, Kenilworth UTD edged out Gangstas Allardyce in a tightly contested game with a 1-0 victory, while Crumble FC and Lahmas offered an intense spectacle of a match, eventually ending with a 6-4 victory for Crumble FC. Tracksuit Friends fell to Jimmys Boys 2-4. But the highlight of the week in the Premier League was the dominating performance from Sneakers Prep FC who made a strong statement with an astonishing 13-1 victory over Hoo Mafia. Anton from Sneakers Prep FC led the charge, putting on a masterclass by netting six goals in a single match.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, games were equally as intense, with Medway Argyle and Mrs Heards Boys battling it out for a 2-2 draw. Mylittlescratchy defeated Unathletic Madrid 3-0 in a commanding display. The fans witnessed a captivating match between Wonderboys FC and Real Jacamo, which ended in a 4-2 victory for Real Jacamo. George of Real Jacamo stood out as the top scorer for the division with two goals.

The week ended with TBC FC squeezing out a narrow win over Shakthar Senseless with a 1-0 victory, and Expecting Toulouse drawing 2-2 with Balotelli-Tubbies in an evenly contested game.

Impressive performances from Anton and George have surely set the tone for the rest of the season in both divisions, and we are looking forward to more such thrilling performances in the weeks to come.
