In the first week of the recently initiated Andover Sunday 6-a-side Football League, both the Premier League and Division 1 brought forth some exciting matches, promising an exhilarating season ahead.

The Premier League, with its share of thrill and adrenaline, saw Scoregasms take a convincing victory over A Town Jezzys with a score of 5-2. Meanwhile, Pathetico Madrid and Chris Lawrences Barmy Army faced off in an intense match, ending in a 3-3 draw. In stark contrast, Iron Age Oldies and Inter Ya Nan showed incredible defensive skills, concluding the game in a goalless draw.

In Division 1, a fierce competition was observed amongst the competing teams. Wildcard FC emerged victorious against Karen's Army with a narrow margin of 2-1. The Mavericks and Kots displayed a compelling game, with Kots clinching the win 3-2. Rush Hour dominated their game against Neuro Ninjas, displaying a stellar performance and winning with a clean sheet of 5-0.

This week's top scorers have set the stage for the season. With Scoregasms and Rush Hour dictating the pace in their respective divisions at the onset, all eyes will be set on whether they can maintain their momentum.
