A new season of the Aylesbury Thursday 5-a-side Football league kicked off in thrilling style yesterday, with teams across the Premier League and Division 1 divisions setting an exciting tone for the games to come.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Goal Diggers started the season strongly with a high-scoring 9-6 victory over Watermead FC. The team showed exceptional offensive play, securing their spot at the top of the league table for week 1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels also cruised to a comfortable win, defeating Grasselona 7-2. But it was Inter Your Bin FC, who stole the show, convincingly beating Press Start Now FC 21-2, marking themselves as the team to beat this season.

DIVISION ONE
Moving to Division 1, the story was similar, with high-scoring games indicating that this season will be an exciting one. Yes Guys (REAL) toppled Bibs with a final score of 12-6, asserting their dominance early in the season. In a closely fought contest, Gangsters Allardyce pulled off a 7-5 win over Intervale FC, while Gueye Pride surprised everyone with an emphatic 7-1 victory over AYLESBURY FC. The final game of the night saw Non Bibs overcoming Pendu City 5-2.

Even though it's only the first week, the competition is heating up. The top scorers of each division are already showing their prowess. Goal Diggers and Inter Your Bin FC lead the Premier League, while Yes Guys (REAL) and Gueye Pride have set the pace in Division 1.
